About Three Crosses Outreach
Three Crosses Outreach has been in existence since 1999. The ministry has sponsored free summer day camps every summer since then. Three Crosses has been an integral part of the Norway Community, sponsoring community meals, the summer lunch program, helping at the local schools, mentoring children and families, providing food to underserved families, and so much more.
Our Mission
For over 20 years God has been providing the resources to minister to children and youth in Norway, South Carolina. Our primary goal has been to see the lives of these kids transformed into the image of Jesus. We have pursued that goal through the means of after-school programs, summer day camps, monthly activities, presenting Bible lessons, providing snacks, and encouraging intellectual and physical activity.
When thinking of Three Crosses Outreach, we want people to know that we apply applicable programs to help the individuals we encounter. The lessons and ideas presented are ones that show them how to apply these concepts to their everyday living. We strive to challenge each of them to be better and feel good about who they are and where they can go.
The logo of Three Crosses Outreach is one that was designed for all to think of the encounter on Calvary. We all know that Jesus was on the center cross with one thief on either side of Him. If you look at Luke 23: 32-43, you will find that there are 3 men hanging on 3 Crosses. Luke 23: 39 starts the conversation between the thieves and Jesus. One of the thieves doubted Jesus for whom He was while the other asked to be remembered. We want our community to know that we are here for those that want to build their relationship with Christ through services and for those that have not made the decision to walk with Jesus yet. Our vision and love for the Father guides all that we do at Three Crosses Outreach in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We are to tell the story of the KING!

Tanya Anderson
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. My name is Tanya Anderson, and I am from North, South Carolina. I am blessed to be married to my husband, Calvin, and together we have four sons and seven grandchildren. While our family has experienced heartbreaking loss of our beloved grandson, Kai, on January 14, 2025, we continue to trust God’s grace, strength, and faithfulness each day. God has blessed me with a rewarding career in education, where I have served as a teacher for 28 years. I firmly believe that teaching is my God-given calling, and He has continually guided and sustained me throughout my journey. More than a decade ago, through a recommendation and God’s divine favor, He opened the door for me to become a part of Three Crosses. It has been a tremendous honor to serve alongside such dedicated and inspiring individuals. Three Crosses aligns perfectly with the passion and purpose God has placed on my heart to serve and uplift young people. As a board member, I contribute through curriculum development and community engagement, helping to support programs that make a positive impact on youth and families. My life is grounded in faith, and I strive to live by the words of 1 John 4:4: “Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.”

She and her family are active members of Radius Church (Pelion campus.) Maria’s connection to the youth of Norway and Neeses began in 2003 during her time teaching at Hunter-Kinard-Tyler High and Elementary Schools. After crossing paths with Laura at a Run Hard race in 2024, Maria eagerly joined the Three Crosses team to reinvest in her home community. Today, she channels her extensive experience into serving as the 1st and 2nd grade summer camp teacher and a dedicated board member, grateful for every opportunity to demonstrate God’s love to the children of Norway and Neeses.
