A typical day in our summer day camp looks something like this: The staff and volunteer groups arrive around 8am for a morning devotional and prayer time. Then the vans go out to pick up children from the surrounding neighborhoods and communities. At 9am, everyone gathers for singing and Bible teaching. Then the children form into age-group classes and cycle through the different instruction areas. In addition to biblical knowledge, we teach reading & reading comprehension, physical education, and arts and crafts. At the end of each morning, we serve lunch, which is provided by Orangeburg School District 4. Summer Camp normally runs for eight weeks.
Camp begins June 8th!
